CALLING ALL FREE SPIRITS! SEATTLE’S OFF-THE-WALL FREMONT FAIR AND SOLSTICE PARADE SET FOR JUNE 19-20
Mark your calendar! Kick off summertime fun with the 39th annual Fremont Fair, Seattle’s most beloved weekend festival featuring two days of eclectic activities. Presented by the Fremont Chamber of Commerce, the annual event is designed to celebrate the quirky character of the neighborhood, and includes shopping booths, performance art, bands, wildly decorated Art Cars, beer gardens, food, kids’ activities and all manner of creative expression and entertainment.
Coinciding with this 38-year old summer tradition is the annual Solstice Parade, put on by the Fremont Arts Council. The parade features an array of whimsical and off-the-wall floats, and an anything goes attitude!
The Fair is free to attend and annually draws more than 100,000 participants to embrace Fremont’s unofficial motto, “Delibertus Quirkus” – the Freedom to be Peculiar.

Saturday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The Solstice Parade starts Saturday at noon
