Thank you to all of our generous 2007 Fremont Fair volunteers. We couldn't have done it without you and look forward to another great year with you!
2008 Volunteer Information:
Volunteering at the Fremont Fair is all about making a difference! The Fair raises money to help end poverty in our community. 100% of the money donated at Fair entrances supports Solid Ground's Housing and Shelter Programs throughout Seattle & King County.
This year, consider bringing a volunteer group to the Fremont Fair! Whether from your work, school, church, bus route or neighborhood, group volunteering is a fun and easy way to connect with your friends and family. Sign up your group today! And while we’re encouraging groups to participate, we always appreciate individual volunteers. So whether you bring a group or come on your own, the Fremont Fair is a great opportunity to be a part of one of Seattle’s best-loved festivals, meet new people and enjoy the excitement of this summer kick-off.
Solid Ground (formerly the Fremont Public Association) works to build a world free from poverty, prejudice and neglect. We believe our community has the resources, will and ability to end poverty; all people have the right to food, shelter, social justice and opportunities; and to end poverty, we must undo racism. Our 30 food, shelter, advocacy and care programs work together to create a community in which all members stand on solid ground with the skills and confidence needed to achieve their dreams.

Shuttle Service Not Available This Year :(
We provide the essentials: love, fun and good food for volunteers during the Fair weekend. The past few years we’ve also had a volunteer shuttle service donated by Metro. Unfortunately, they're not able to provide the service again this year. HOWEVER, once you get to your shift we will take care of you! Food, drinks, bad jokes…. You name it! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you. You are the heart and soul of this event. Thank you for bringing it back to life every year.
